I discovered a piece of burlap with this rooster drawn on it that was from years ago. It was just waiting to be worked on and finished. The background was made with many plaids all dyed together, resulting in a wonderful variety of blues and greens. The edge is finished with deep red and black reproduction calico. This rug is also offered on TFA's Homegrown in the Studio Shop and after that event, the TFA Shop. I encourage you to visit TFA when you can.
